《開箱中國》拿到華為Mate 60系列新機后，與來自英國的博主巴瑞特（Lee John Barrett）一起體驗了它令人期待的各種功能。

其中，衛星通話功能讓巴瑞特十分驚艷，在水下也能使用的隔空手勢功能更是震撼了兩人。

巴瑞特評價道，華為在過去幾年顯然十分努力，從而可以把這些好的技術置入這個簡潔美麗的機身里。

They've obviously worked hard over the last few years to fit all that amazing technology into such a small, neat package.

除了感嘆華為手機的強大功能，巴瑞特最為感慨的是中國高科技企業在面對美西方制裁時，體現出了“殺不死你只會讓你更強大”的精氣神。

巴瑞特認為，短期內制裁可能對美國有利，但是長期來看，他們絕對是搬起石頭砸自己的腳。

My personal belief is that, in the short term, the sanction will be beneficial to the US. But in the long term, I think they'll shot themselves in the foot for sure.

他注意到，中國培養了大量的高科技人才。美國喬治城大學的一份研究報告根據中美大學的入學趨勢推測，到2025年，中國的STEM（Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics，科學、技術、工程和數學）專業博士畢業生將接近美國的兩倍。

所以，巴瑞特認為中國解決半導體生產“只是時間問題”，“此時此刻會成為歷史中的一個重要節點，無論是對華為，還是對整個中國”。巴瑞特說15或者20年后，施加制裁的那些人回看今日，會為自己的做法感到后悔。

China will do it. It's just a matter of time. I think they will actually look back in 15 to 20 years' time and actually regret what they've done. And I think this will go down in history as a very pivotal moment both for Huawei and for China as a whole.
